It's that time of the year. When the summer starts to heat up here, I start daydreaming about moving back to the California coast with its lovely, moderate summers. This home is quintessential Cali. I love it!

I love everything about this Manhattan loft. I could move in today and not change a thing. I especially love how a corridor was turned into a playroom. That's a brilliant use of space. Additional pics found here.
Vacation is over. Ugh. Let's pretend that it's not Monday and that we live in San Fran in this crazy gorgeous family home. This might be my favorite Lonny feature to date. And that says a lot.
It's not surprising that today's family home is so beautifully done. The owners are a cinematographer/set designer couple who took an old barn and turned it into something fabulous. I love homes that feel collected over time, and this one certainly does. I also love adorable babies, and theirs is pretty darn cute.
Kelly Wearstler. What can I say? I'm a fan. I love it all: her sense of style, her bold decor choices, her adorable boys Oliver and Elliot. Hope you enjoy these pics.
I love this home tour that I spotted here. Those bookshelves, the wallpaper, the "climbing wall." Full on swoon.
Moroccan rugs are everywhere right now. I decided to jump on the bandwagon for our living room, and I'm so glad I did. It's one of my new favorite things. If you are interested in a genuine Beni Ourain, check out Beyond Marrakech. Danielle was amazingly helpful and patient with my countless questions. My carpet arrived in just 4 days all the way from Morocco. I was hesitant to buy something without seeing it in person first, but it's gorgeous and so soft. I haven't forgotten about the requests to see pictures of my new home. Coming soon... all images of vintage Moroccan rugs via here
Remember this nursery? It might be my favorite baby space ever. Style Me Pretty Living just featured the rest of Christine Dovey's home, and it's as fabulous as the nursery. Ostrich wallpaper, you guys! Check out the rest of her gorgeous pad (and her other kids' rooms) here.
I'm so happy that Domino is back. Did you see this feature in print? If not, enjoy the electronic version.
